Split up the back seam, and make it about 1 inch smaller, 1/2 inch each side. Also split up the center back of the lining, and make lace holes in each side. And for future pairs, make the waistband in 2 pieces, with a seam at center back, where you an leave the opening, then put in the lace holes.
