The original poster asked about "recent" stuff, not just upcoming stuff, which
was what inspired my comment.

You already mentioned the two "upcoming" items on my list--the Rogers book and
the book on the Oseberg textiles.

Here are some of the (slightly) older, but still "recent" books I was thinking
of. (I've bought all of them, too; shows you how much willpower I
have.) :-)

Dress in Anglo-Saxon England, Revised and Enlarged Edition (Hardcover)
by Gale R. Owen-Crocker
Publisher: Boydell Press (November 2004)
ISBN: 1843830817

Woven into the Earth: Textiles from Norse Greenland (Hardcover)
by Else Ostergard, Else Stergard Publisher: Aarhus Universitetsforlag
(November 2004)
ISBN: 8772889357

Northern Archaeological Textiles, Nesat VII: Textile Symposium in Edinburgh,
5th-7th May 1999 (Hardcover)
by Frances Prithchard (Editor), Peter Wild (Editor)
Publisher: Oxbow Books Limited (July 2005)
ISBN: 1842171623
(which you told me about)

Priceless Invention of Humanity - Textiles (NESAT 8) Acta Archaeologica
Lodziensia Nr 50/1 edited by Jerzy Maik.
Publisher: Instytut Archaeologii I Etnologii Pan. Lodz Poland (2004)
(which I think you also told me about)

There are other books I'm yearning for, but most of them are out of print, and
not remotely recent.
