Hi, I'm trying to figure out if some shirring tape, from my stash, would be useable for costuming. It is about 7/8" wide, with a single cord about 1/4" from one edge. When pulled, the cord forms a consistent gather, not any sort of pleat or smocked effect. Does anyone use shirring tape in costuming? If so, how?
