And then, again, a 25 y/o guy who just went shopping with his girlfriend just might know what it was called, or at least what his girlfriend called it. Of course, he might also go with "that skimpy top thing." I don't think any guy I know (I'm 63) would ever call it a "blouse", but "skimpy top" would be right up there as a good description. "Way skimpy top" would be even more appropriate.
