Another modular microcontroller platform:

The modules are 4 x 4 cm and referred to as bricks, with the usual
complement of controller and peripheral bricks. (With some bias towards
functionality you'd need for robotics.)

Uses "rules-based programming" that's claimed to be easier than Arduino
programming, or optionally you can use C, C++, C#, Java, or Python.
