Korea-based Hardkernel has announced the Odroid-x, a minuscule development board packing a quad-core Exynos 4 processor and a fair complement of connectivity options. Geek.com reports that the 90 x 94mm device will start shipping around the end of July for $129. The Odroid-x is built around the quad-core 1.4GHz Exynos 4412, an SoC that didn't fail to impress when tucked into the Samsung Galaxy S III we reviewed last month. The development board supports Android 4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich), and other ARM-friendly Linux distributions including Ubuntu 12.04. The device features many essentials for the discerning code-jockey, including six USB 2.0 ports, 1GB of RAM, Micro USB and Micro HDMI ports, an SD card reader and a Gigabit Ethernet jack. _______________________________________________ Hardwarehacking mailing list Hardwarehacking@blu.org http://lists.blu.org/mailman/listinfo/hardwarehacking
