The New York Metropolitan Area Chapter of the Association of Jewish 
Libraries (AJL-NYMA) is pleased to announce that its 2008 Fall 
Conference will be devoted to the topic:

"CELEBRATING JEWISH BOOKS—AND THOSE WHO LOVE THEM"

KEYNOTE SPEAKER: PHYLLIS CHESLER, noted author and psychologist
Ms. Chesler will speak about books, especially Jewish books, and 
about her relationship to the books that matter to her, including the 
books that she has written. A Q&A will follow Ms. Chesler's presentation.

The conference will take place on Tuesday, December 2nd, 1-4 pm, at 
the Ramaz Lower School (Ricklis Hall), located at 125 East 85th 
Street, between Park and Lexington Avenues, NYC.

REGISTRATION: Please RSVP by November 25th to Leslie Monchar, 
[EMAIL PROTECTED] Payment ($10 for members of the NYMA chapter; 
$18, non-members) is at the door or can be mailed in advance no later 
than November 25th to: Leslie Monchar, 2 White Meadow Road, Rockaway,
