Hello to all, I have a question that I hope everyone working in a synagogue library, temple library, day school library, yeshiva libray, special collections (university library) public library - (please add yourself if I have left your professional affiliation out)! Or retired persons from libraries.
What were a. the most common questions (or types) you were asked - were they general, very esoteric? b. what was the most interesting question you have ever had? c. what do you wish you knew prior to becoming the type of librarian you are? I know you are very very busy - I am trying to prepare for a talk net week and hope to have some input from what real Jewish librarians do. I am still a humble student.
