Manager, Fellowships at Auschwitz for the Study of Professional Ethics (FASPE) http://www.idealist.org/view/job/ZxHkDMj2gN2D/ FASPE is a set of innovative programs for students in professional schools designed to address contemporary ethical issues through a unique historical context. The Fellowships provide law, medical, seminary, journalism, and business students a forum in which to examine contemporary ethical issues using the conduct of their chosen professions in Nazi Germany and the Holocaust as a framework. Job Description: Reporting to the Museum's Deputy Director, the Manager will administer all aspects of this exciting network of programsfrom development and fundraising to programmatic content and organization. Manages all development efforts related to FASPE including, working closely with MJH development staff and outside development consultant. Cultivation and fundraising from major individual donors, foundations, and corporations. Works closely with 5 person executive committee and FASPE Steering Committee. Generates reports and analyses for leadership. Manages all programmatic aspects of FASPE (currently four disciplines, with a fifth about to be piloted) including, but not limited to: developing and refining content; identification of, hiring, and working with guest faculty; strategizing and overseeing recruitment efforts; overseeing travel arrangements, publications. Coordinates relationships with universities, other educational, and cultural organizations, nationally and internationally. Manages budgets (approximately $600K per year) and schedules. Works with MJH Communications department on branding, public relations efforts, marketing, web development.
