Hello all,
My synagogue is planning on doing a One Book- One Community program, and
we're having difficulty picking the right book.

Ideally, we'd like to conclude the program with a visit from the author- so
we're trying to make sure the author of the book we select would be able to
come to our shul in the Washington D.C. area.

We would like to find a book that appeals to both men and women, preferably a
novel, and not a Holocaust title.

Any feedback about recommended books or successful programs would be greatly
appreciated.
Thank you so much!
-Susan
