The book accompanies the New-York Historical Society exhibition "Arthur Szyk: Soldier in Art," featuring over 40 works by the Jewish Polish-born artist, including his original watercolor and gouache illuminations of the Haggadah and historical scenes, scathing World War II political drawings, preparatory works, and ephemera.
