Sorry, I meant paying for Surpass. Paying for LibraryCat is fine because it is so cheap (I’m just not sure that it is the right interface for us).

I pay $6 a month because our library has over 5,000 books. I don’t mind LibraryThing’s public interface. And I’m not sure that I want to spend any of my paltry annual budget on software when LibraryThing costs $25 for a permanent license! The TinyCat feature is more like a library data-base and more library friendly for patrons than the original LibraryThing which is used by me for data entry. Here is a link to our library account so you can see how it works. Temple members can see the new books as they are accessioned, find my reviews, and actually reserve a book through this link. https://www.librarycat.org/lib/HandelmanLibraryTINR Hope this helps. It costs a staggering $25 for a lifetime membership and it is otherwise free. It is a very full-featured library catalog program—I highly recommend it.
