One of our Yeshiva University students, Aaron, is graduating in January. Aaron has been working in the Library as a library assistant this past year, and is thinking of pursuing librarianship, possibly Judaica librarianship, as a profession. Before applying to Library Schools Aaron would like to gain more experience working in a library, and is looking for a full-time job as a library assistant in the New York City area. His preference would be to work in a Judaica library, but he would consider a position in another library too. Aaron is a bright, conscientious, and responsible young man, and he would be a great asset to any employer. One caveat: Aaron is a Shabbat-observer, which precludes him from working on Saturdays. If you know of any library assistant openings or have any leads for Aaron, please contact me off-line.
