have been accepting them for years (but no, I don’t want yours!) Fortunately,
I have a closet where I can store them. Anytime we have a program with young
children/families, we set-up a “PJ Library Take Table” and I put out a
selection of donated books (usually related to the upcoming holiday) and let
every kid take one or more home. They always do! Obviously, we didn’t give as
many away this past year but we still put them out at all of our outdoor Tot
Shabbat and other programs. Families seem to enjoy trying to find one that
they don’t already have! I also allow the preschool and religious school
teachers to “shop” the closet and take whatever they want for their classrooms.
