Dear Safranim, I'm sharing this on behalf of Prof. Magda Teter.
Please share. Emergency Assistance to Jewish Scholars in Ukraine: This program has been made possible by the generosity and collaboration of leading North American Jewish Studies centers, philanthropic foundations, and academic organizations and societies. Please see the bottom of this page for a list of the contributing partners. Applications are now open for fellowships for Jewish studies scholars affected by the current war in Ukraine. In addition to the financial support of up to $3,000, the fellowship also offers remote access to library resources at Fordham University and the NYPL, especially NYPL’s Dorot Jewish Division and the Slavic collection, membership in the Association for Jewish Studies, and professional development virtual workshops jointly led by the American Academy for Jewish Research and Fordham. Priority will be given to Ukrainian scholars in Jewish Studies who have remained in Ukraine. Applications can be submitted in Ukrainian, Russian and English. Knowledge of English is needed to take full advantage of all the benefits that this program offers. Applications should be in English, but applications in Ukrainian or Russian will be accepted, and consist of statements of research interests and resources needed as well as a current CV. Review of applications will begin on August 15 and continue so long as funding is available. https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://mfjc.org/assistance-to-jewish-studies-scholars-in-ukraine/__;!!KGKeukY!we49hqDT5lnXin1Fd2nLgbRKuOY1xfusuOt59fpssaewPB0pL_iw6arYeloXe9e6SDnLuZD_Od-XaVKvg-zw1mTY5g$ Sincerely, -- *Amanda (Miryem-Khaye) Seigel* Librarian III - Instruction and Outreach Dorot Jewish Division, Room 111 The New York Public Library Stephen A.
