I’d like to pass on the following announcement: The Jewish Historical Society of Delaware is pleased to announce the publication of *A Tribute to My Teacher Rabbi Simon Krinsky: His Poetry Until 1936* by Rabbi Edward Zerin. Rabbi Krinsky, ordained by Rav Kook, was Rabbi Zerin's bar mitzvah teacher and later his mentor as Zerin prepared for admission to the Hebrew Union College in 1941.
This presentation of the 60 Yiddish poems originally published in Rabbi Krinsky’s 1936 book *Faranene un Gevezene* (Present and Past) is the first time that Krinsky's poetry has been translated into English. It is a bilingual edition, featuring the original Yiddish text and English translation on facing pages.
