library to an appropriate institution. The Simon Wiesenthal Center
is not in the position to accept, but I am forwarding this to the
list with Dr. Loewy's permission in the hope that someone will want
the books, or can help her find a home for them. Please respond

My husband, Dr. Professor Erich H. Loewy, MD, was a
cardiologist/bioethicist interested in social justice issues in general.
He left a large holocaust/genocide library--mainly in English and
German--of over 3000 texts with hopes that they might be given to a
university (preferably) or a relevant institution that would agree
not to break it up and sell it off piecemeal. The university here is
unable to agree to this stipulation, and I wish to communicate with
someone at your institution in hopes that s/he may have some
suggestions regarding this matter.
