Dear Judaica Librarians:

I am the Volunteer Librarian at Beth David a Reform Synagogue in
Westminster, California. I am also the President, Vice President of
Programming, and Librarian of the Orange County California Jewish Genealogy
Society and the Head of Libraries for the International Association of
Jewish Genealogy Societies. I am working on a paper on how to set up a
Jewish Genealogy Library for the IAJGS website. I am also working on a
comprehensive bibliography for a Jewish Genealogy collection. I have a 215
volume Jewish Genealogy Collection in my garage for the Orange County
Jewish Genealogy Society. My personal collection is 41 volumes. 37 of
them are duplicate copies of books in the OCJGS collection. I can be
reached anytime for questions about Jewish Genealogy Library Resources and
how to build a Jewish Genealogy Library. Check out
https://urldefense.com/v3/__http://www.ocjgs.org__;!!KGKeukY!nVLoto_x7r_PjtnmcEw412l5nGC3nLL7SOyZTQQdix5dx02JfkC_SfodatnqQ8R85S4$
  to see
what is in my OCJGS collection. The two books I recommend for every
Jewish library are
1. Getting Started in Jewish Genealogy 2020 edition by Gary Mokotoff
2. From Generation to Generation 3rd edition by Arthur Kurzweil
