Hi Don, thank you for the reference. I saw System.Process but when I needed it I was in a hurry and having a UNIX background I googled for some snippet daemonizing a process which led me to the System.Process.Posix package. Yet, I was surprised not to find it in Hoogle as I thought it to be a comprehensive search engine. But I was wrong :D Thanks.
