Hi all, New to hdf and relatively new to linux. I am trying to install the hdf4 library to use pyhdf in the python environment.
I've downloaded the hdf4 binaries but I cant find a .sh or .bin installer for the binary. Do I need to build from source? I don't have much experience with linux binaries (except using .sh) so any help would be greatly appreciated.
