Shalom all LCSH has the following scope note on the heading Palestine: "Here are entered works on the region on the eastern coast of the Mediterranean Sea that in ancient times was called the Land of Canaan, later the kingdoms of Israel and Judah, and in modern times comprises the entire state of Israel, as well as the various disputed territories. Works on a specific jurisdiction or territory within this region are entered under its respective name."
So presumably, this heading should not be used for the specific area of the Palestinian Authority. However in a recent LC record (2009013831) for the 2009 book "Israel's foreign policy towards the PLO" http://lccn.loc.gov/2009013831 I find subjects: Israel--Relations--Palestine and Palestine--Relations--Israel tagged 651 0 Has there been a change in policy?
