Hi Heidi,

My guess is that Elhanan's presentation is too short for an actual presentation (and there was no time/place for it in the program agenda), but is still something that we catalogers would benefit from knowing about. Regarding the European digital project, the head of the project, Dov Wiener, is soliciting AJL participation. Though I've been in touch with him numerous times, I have yet to pin him down on what exactly he wants/needs from us vis a vis metadata creation. I'm hoping Aviad, from the NLI (who Dov head said is participating in the program) will be able to shed more light on the matter. Because it's more a discussion and solicitation for participation, it belongs more as a meeting topic.

looks good,
but it seems that one of the resasons that meeting is so long is that elhanan's
presentation and the one on the european digitial project are much more suited
to programmatic presentations than a meeting.

why are they scheduled during a meeting?
