Dear fatimah,
I agree that in Islam there is many things that are forbidden, but Allah
gives a lot of other things /plenty of them that which we can do. This
is for our own good. Eg. Muslim cannot commit adultery because too safe
guard the quality of family, so that if a child is born, he has
responsible parents to take care of him and not sent to the orphanage or
even worse to be thrown into the rubbish bin.
Another example: pork is forbidden by God. If we see from scientific
side we can know that the meat from pig has deadly worms that cannot be
killed by normal cooking. If u study other things that are forbidden by
God , all has more harm than good. This is the best of Islam, God who
create all things has set the rules and He are The Most Knowledgable
of His creation of what good and bad.
The unbelievers/ free thinkers are free to do anything they like
here, but they also are restricted by the law of human aren't they. But
they will be punished in the hell of not believing in Islam and God.
You must remember this if : Do whatever u like , but be known that
all doings will be rewarded fairly; Live your life as u like , but be
known that we all will die; love whomever u like, but beknown that they
will also die, u love Allah he live forever.
By that that I hope u will reconsider uyour decision, may God gives us
all guidance, and live happily ever after.
