This is a machine running fedora core 2 with all updates. Athlon xp 3000+ and i gig of ram here is what goes on:
For some reason running screen makes the system startup one instance..then after a minute or two a shadow instance shows up. This makes the memory usage grow out of control and makes the clients get that flood of UNPARSEABLE FIELD TYPE 0 entries in their consoles. I have tried screen in every way i know how and the servers continue to ghost. I have seen this with cs main and private. What is stupid is this is not occurring on my RHEL clone.
Any ideas on why this ghosting is occurring?
