I wouldn't count on HP replacing the 130 with another dye ink printer.
They already have 24" pigment printers. With the demise of the B
printers as well, HP seems to have given over the tabloid size printer
market to Epson and Canon, and to be concentrating (for pros) on high
end roll printers.

However, I figure they'll continue to produce dye inks for those
printers until they think the printers in use have reached the end of
their lives. Dropping the 3 pack is just a way of narrowing what they
have to produce and stock.
