Correct.  It is linked to /usr/bin/foomatic-rip, which does exist, though that 
also has an August date (when I first got this printer).

Thanks.  I'll have to look through that.  At a quick glance I see that you are 
using usb printers.  The Photosmart C7180 here is attached by wifi to the 
lan, working on an IP address.  I'll have to see what that affects.
