I try to compile ht/dig 3.1.6 under cygwin version 1.3.9 The compilation when good.
htdig -v -i was ok. But htmerge give me the following error: htmerge -v htmerge: Sorting... htmerge: Merging... DB2 problem...: /htdig/db/db.docdb: file size not a multiple of the pagesize htmerge: Document database has no URLs. Check your config file and try running htdig again. I know this has been posted before and the answer was to install an old version of cygwin but this is not a solution possible in this case.
