+ for example the error is

+ 0:0:0:http://www.student.sbu.ac.uk/:

+ size = 65
+ pick: www.student.sbu.ac.uk, # servers = 1
+ htmerge: Sorting...
+ DB2 problem...: missing or empty key value specified
+
+ 0/http://www.student.sbu.ac.uk/
In the hope of saving someone some time, here's the reply I just posted to
Sally on another list. Although the server name has changed it seems to
redirect and fail identically.
Have you read the FAQ Sally?
That problem is covered in
http://htdig.sourceforge.net/FAQ.html#q5.28
If the FAQ doesn't solve it for you then it's probably time to join the
htdig mailling list, see
http://www.htdig.org/mailarchive.html
I suspect the answer is that you have an empty database because nothing
matches your include criteria. You are indexing www.media.sbu.ac.uk which
appears to issue a server redirect to www.sbu.ac.uk which isn't a
candidate for indexing so ... nothing.

Malcolm.
