During the trip we will try to compare the tectonic and sedimentation of Barito and Kutai Basin along with the role of Meratus complex in the history of the two basin. Economic aspect of the Barito-Kutai Basin and Meratus complex we will highlight such as a visit to coal mining with outcrops in Barito Basin area, discussion on gold mining and igneous outcrops and the petroleum system of the two basin. The field Trip Schedule start from Jakarta to Banjarmasin - Batulicin Area - Tanah Grogot - Kuaro Area - Gitan Area - P. Balang and the end of trip at Balikpapan.
