Teng qiu commentnya Pak Awang. Memang kalau dari regional seismic yang diutara (Mangkalihat ke Palu-Koro zone) terutama di daerah Papalang, dalam seismic menipis dan habis sebelum Palu-Koro. Tetapi dari regional seismic yang di selatan (Meratus ke West Sulawesi Fold belt), Miocene horizons dari Mahakam masih nampak menerus ke timur. Kemungkinan sediments ini masih meliwati deep edge dan bercampur dengan slope channels sediment dari Sulawesi. Mungkinkah terjadi perbedaan distribusi sediment yang besar dari Mahakam Delta pada masa rotasi deltanya? Sehingga mempengaruhi sediment Mahakam ke timur. Juga adanya beberapa paleo shelf edge di selatan yang membantu memperluas transportasi sediment tersebut.

Semua sumur hampir dibor di tempat tinggi, kita tak akan mengharapkan source yang matang, tetapi ekivalennya di deeper facies bisa jadi matang. Ini suatu paradoks di geokimia yang mesti diwaspadai, source data selalu berasal dari titik bor yang umumnya dibor di wilayah tinggi dan oksik, jadi pasti punya kualitas minimal pada SR-nya. Sekilas lihat seismic sectionnya mirip dengan struktur2 Deppwater Kutei bagian Utara (Sadewa, Hiu Aman, dll). Hanya genesanya yg berbeda, krn terbentuk akibat compression tectonic dibanding gravity driven/toe-thrust yg di Kutei. Seal Sedimen tersier di West Sulawesi yang mud-dominated bakal jadi seal yang bagus untuk akumulasi HC. Resiko breaching mungkin ada, terutama akibat reaktivasi fault dari recent tektonik aktif. Setahu saya Cekungan Lariang-Karama ya. Cukup banyak seepages ditemukan di wilayah Lariang-Karama ini sejak zaman dahulu. Begitu pun onshore-nya dari Lariang, Karossa, Karama, Enrekang, Pare-Pare. Akhirnya, nanti blok2 di West-South Sulawesi onshore dan offshore akan seramai blok2 onshore dan offshore East Kalimantan. Semoga sesukses blok2 di sisi East Kalimantan, walaupun secara geologi West Sulawesi onshore dan offshore tentu tak sama dengan sisi barat Makassar Strait.
