Barry, Not sure where you got that impression. My Q setsys display showed Partialtape Migration=reuse Backup=reuse which is what I wanted. However it showed Partialtape=Markfull in the DSBACKUP section of the display. That was rectified by the HSEND DEFINE SWITCHTAPES(DSBACKUP(AUTOBACKUPEND PARTIALTAPE(reuse)))

It looks as if your SETSYS command failed or was overridden for some reason. -----Original Message----- From: IBM Mainframe Discussion List [mailto:ibm-m...@bama.ua.edu] On Behalf Of O'Brien, David W. Anyway Markfull no longer appears on my Q Setsys which is what I wanted. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to lists...@bama.ua.edu with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to lists...@bama.ua.edu with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
