The IBM and z/OS strategy for disseminating programming information is undergoing a significant amount of change. Part of this change will be the withdrawal of the Data Areas publications in favor of web delivery of the detailed data areas information based off of the z/OS Library Center website. The format and content of each of the data areas will remain unchanged. To improve the accuracy of the documentation, processes are being enhanced to automatically create the information when a mapping is changed.
