--- Start of Idrisi List message Hi all. I have managed to get IDRISI to display a scanned image of a paper map (as you may have noted from my earlier postings!). As with all scanned images, it was a little squint (or "not quite true") and so required a bit of geo-rectification before my vector-based data could be superimposed over it. This turned into a rather lengthy excercise. IDRISI won't RESAMPLE an RGB24 data type. So I had to import the scanned image via BIPIDRIS, disaggregate the 3 layers (R, G & B), rectify each layer separately, then use COMPOSITE to combine them back into my "original" image (now rectified). So this message is first of all to let others know how to do this, and secondly to ask if there is a better (quicker!) way than the one I have just described. All suggestions welcome. Will SUM if anything relevant comes up. Cheers, Graham. --- End of Idrisi List message IDRISI-L is an unmoderated list.
