Sorry if this may have been covered, but I am new to the list. I am
trying to install Idrisi 32.01 on my win 2000 box. It installs fine on
our NT4 and win95/98 boxes. When I insert the CD and the autostart kicks
in, the Idrisi box appears and the set-up percent windows opens. When it
reaches 100%, I get an _INS5576._MP Application Error message. The
application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). Click on OK to
terminate the application. A DOS windows appears with a blank screen
with E:\idrisi\_ISDEL.EXE. Along with the DOS window an error windows
appears that says
16 bit MS-DOS Subsystem
E:\idrisi\_ISDEL.EXE
SYSTEM\Current\ControlSet\Control\VirtualDeviceDrivers. VDD. Virtual
Device Driver format in the registry is invalid. Choose 'Close' to
terminate the application.
I don't find any references for Idrisi in the registry.
Is there a problem with Idrisi32.01 and win2000?
