There are several open source webmail clients (I haven't tried any of them, so YMMV and you'll need to check out their capabilities), including jwma, Squirrelmail, Horde, Open Webmail and about a hundred others according to this search on SourceForge: http://sourceforge.net/search/?type_of_search=3Dsoft&words=3Dwebmail
