Coooool.  Now if gcc were only a linkable library, then we might be able to
get acceptible runtime compilation performance from it.

I've got a real-world application I might try my hand at -- procmail recipe
compilation.  Procmail has absolutely horrible performance, so for mass use
it's effectively prohibitive.  If I could compile its recipes, though....

Just thinking.
