Hi Sharad, As you might be aware, we've recently decided to move the oci8 and Oracle extensions away from the PHP core distribution. I'm in the process of setting up a new Git repository where then work can be done, and from where releases on PECL can be made. It would probably best to wait until that's done (today / tomorrow), and then I can add you as maintainer of the repository.
