Please read a response from Evin Prison by Nasser Zarafshan to Farokh Negahdar regarding the referandum.
my 2 cents:
When the call for refferendum was first announced many observers abroad especially those who were hard line political activists questioned whether Zarafshan was in fact a signature. One even claimed that with knowledge he had about Zarafshan this must be a sham by IRI. Anyhow these letters (another one was published few months back), shows that indeed Zarafshan personaly is involved in this discourse.
Also please pay attention to the part about so called students in prison who are the sweethearts of LA satelite TVs and radio 24 hour shows. One for fact is Fakhravar who has been promoted numerous time on this list by one of the champions of the resistance(!) to be OUR VOICES of freedom. According to the committee in defence of political prisoners in Iran, Fakhravar is the one who had beaten Zarafshan and injured him in face because of his hunger strike in Evin 9 months ago. Fakhravar who used to carry cell phone in Evin claimed that hunger strike had negative impact on his life situation in prison hence attacked Zarafshan.
