Hi

This obscure error has appeared for some customers before, when the
Network Sensor is installed on a system with greater than 512MB of
memory.

The only solution which I have found was to uninstall the sensor, remove
some memory from the system, and reinstall the software, then reinstall
the memory.

You may also be able to use an option in the Windows boot.ini to
artificially limit the memory on the system, using instructions here:
   http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;108393

I believe that setting /MAXMEM=512 should allow the sensor to be
installed correctly, and then this option could be removed.

WBR, Roman

You may be already doing this but I would suggest checking that you have
full event logging set on the sensor through sensor properties, the
sensor should report problems though the console or event viewer giving
you fault or error information
