Alternative set of replication steps for issue 1: OS: Windows 7 Version: Apache OpenOffice 4.2.0 (AOO420m1(Build:9800) - Rev. 1785175) 1. Create new Writer document. 2. Create a table of any size (e.g. 3x3) 3. Input some text in any cell of a table. 4. Select the whole text. 5. Hover over the selected text. Actual result: cursor is in Insertion mode. Expected result: cursor is in Pointing mode from which user can know that the selection can be dragged. Note: this behaviour is not only for text within a table but also within a whole document. Issue 2: User states that it would be better to have a method of selecting the single cell within a table. Method proposed is the same as in MS Word application. It says that a sell within a table can be selected by hovering over the left side of a cell (cursor becomes tilted and black) and left clicking.
