The library does not configure properly and build on Mac OS X 10.7.x (Lion),
with the LLVM gcc front-end. At a glance, possible issues: a lack of a C++
support library (no more libsupc++), a possible failure of RUNTIME_IN_STD.cpp
characterization (see STDCXX-73), etc.
