I think about it... but i cannot manage text color...
Why do you need to?
If you say that the data is coming through RedMon and GS,
then ALL colors in the PDF will be in DeviceRGB space. So you don't
have to worry about the other 10 colorspaces.
Then your only question is whether the user used the color
PPD or the grayscale PPD - and that would be easily tested with image data...
maybe the simple methods would be convert each page into bmp and
analyzing it.
You could do that to. MUCH slower, however...
