Oh... it is very simple. The preview doesn't use the current document or whatever (the content is irrelevant, the preview is just about the menu bar and so on). So, I just test to see what has been selected, and then I show an image that conforms to all the selections... So it doesn't relate to the previous question because no file is actually being opened.
