For now, all we can tell is that you are experiencing something that is impossible: 'embedded characters that are visible in a specific version of Adobe Reader on one machine and not visible in the SAME Adobe Reader version on another machine'. Of course, when I say that your problem is 'impossible', I have made the assumption that you are talking about Adobe Reader, that you are not using functionality that is for instance only visible in a recent version of Adobe Reader, but not in older versions. br, Bruno
