I have never seen this behavior before with PdfPTable, but I can give you an educated guess: Could it be that you are adding empty lines to your PdfPCell objects? These empty lines could be a side effect of adding an empty line after 'hundreds of miles on a gallon of gas.' Where does this content come from?
