the coordinates of n
quadrilaterals in default user space
that comprise the region in which the
link should be activated.

Support for non-rectangular links is new to PDF 1.6. So
yes, you can now do that - but it will only work with Acrobat/Reader 7.
I don't believe, however, that iText supports it yet.
