        If you are using the same font for each paragraph, do NOT 
create a new one each time!   Reuse a single one for the entire 
document...That will improve performance AND reduce the size of the 
final PDF.

        As to what gets written - the semantic value will match what 
you are placing into PDF...HOWEVER, the actual CID (character ID) 
will not necessary represent anything of value.  That's why there is 
a mapping table between CID<->GID and also a /ToUnicode table.

        Not for an Identity-H encoding, no, there is not.
