I've no idea how FOP calculates things. To avoid word wrapping make the width wider but I'm sure you've already thought about that.

Every element, which should be embedded into the document, has an explicit position. For the positioning I am using the class “ColumnText” from the package com.lowagie.text.pdf. The calculations of the required dimensions are done by the original FOP implementation. Now I have encountered the following problem: For some elements, the text field is suddenly too small and the text is automatically word-wrapped, although the dimensions were all right when generated with FOP. Could anybody tell me, why these two practices produce different outputs? Is it possible to avoid the automatic word-wrapping and force the text to write beyond its text field? Best wishes Katrin ___________________________________________________________ Telefonate ohne weitere Kosten vom PC zum PC: http://messenger.yahoo.de -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Take Surveys.
