I live in Ghent, Belgium, and we have the same weather over here :(
I go to work on my bicycle out of conviction (long before I saw
Al Gore's movie), but also because a bike allows you to go much faster.
Ghent University (my employer) doesn't have one central building.
Every faculty has its own campus in a different part of the city.
Whenever there's a meeting on another campus, I do a little competition
with some of my colleagues: they go to the meeting by car, I go by bike.
9 times out of 10, I can beat them in speed.

The fix is in the CVS, but there won't be any release until
after JavaPolis. If you don't know how to create a jar from CVS,
you can download the most recent one from this URL:
http://itext.ugent.be/library/downloads/iText.jar
(the version number in the PDF files will be 1.4.7x
instead of 1.4.7),
