After thinking about it, it is implied in the "PageLayoutTwoColumnRight"
setting. If it is right then odd pages are on the right, which means page 1
would be on its own two-page layout, where as "PageLayoutTwoColumnLeft"
would not create a cover page.

Consider it 'figured out'.

Thanks!

Did you consult ISO 32000-1:2008 for the possible values? Perhaps iText
hasn't predefined all of them?

Subject: [iText-questions] Determining viewer preference for 'Show Cover
page during 2-Up'

Hello,

I'm new to the mailing list (although I've used iText for a little while
now). I've looking at extract the viewer preferences from a PDF document
(particular the ones used in Acrobat Reader - i.e. One-Up, Two-Up, Show
Cover page during 2-Up (yes/no)).

I've found the viewer preferences and can determine 1-Up/2-Up (odd numbering
left/right) but I can't seem to find a property for determining if the
default viewer should have a cover page applied (i.e. in 2-up the first page
is by itself).

Is this property extracted from the viewer preferences and made available
via iText?

Thank-you!

P.S. I'm using iTextSharp - PdfReader and using the "ViewerPreferences"
property and comparing against PdfWriter.PageLayoutOneColumn,
PdfWriter.PageLayoutTwoColumnLeft, etc.

Matt
